Hatchling Horn Worms are Fragile and should be Handled Carefully. Keeping them at 82F is the optimal temperature to get them to grow fast.

There food must be fresh so there small Jaws can eat it. Giving them old food can kill hatchling horn worms if it has got a hard layer over the top. If you made the chow too early and the top layer has hardened scrape off the top layer to allow a new softer  layer to be accessible to hatchlings, Do not handle hatchlings for the first few days.

At this stage we recommend keeping worms at 75-82F
